The 1771 census of the Attakapas District indicates that her household included herself, her husband, Amant Broussard, Isabelle Landry, an unidentified eight-year-old girl, and an unidentified two-month-old boy. Her family owned twenty-eight cattle and seven horses. He occupied a parcel land measuring seven arpents frontage, but he did not hold a title to it. Identified as Pélagie Landrie in the May 1803 census of the Vermilion area of the Attakapas District.
