In addition to her thirty-eight-year-old husband, her household included the following persons: Joseph Martin, her son, 12 years old; Michel Martin, her son, 4 years old; Marguerite Martin, her daughter, 8 years old; Marie Martin, her daughter, 6 years old; and Pélagie Martin, her daughter, 2 yeasr old. She and her family owned a large tract of land with twelve arpents frontage on the Mississippi River. They also owned two slaves, twenty cows, and three horses. |
